MOST Technology insights future outlook will be presented at the
MOST Forum 2013. For the fifth time, this international MOST conference
exhibition will take place on April 23, 2013 in Stuttgart/Esslingen
(Germany). Concurrent with the MOST Cooperation’s All Members Meeting,
this one-day industry event on automotive infotainment technology will
again present latest future technologies application highlights
based on MOST. The recent MOST Forum on March 20, 2012 in
Stuttgart/Esslingen (Germany) celebrated a significant milestone of MOST
Technology: with MOST150, the third MOST generation is going into
series in 2012. Thus, for the first time, the MOST Ethernet channel is
being used in practice to transmit IP data within the vehicle. MOST150
provides an automotive-ready physical layer for Ethernet protocols in
addition to transporting high Quality of Service (QoS) audio video
within the car. This fourth MOST Forum provided exciting presentations
about the latest developments research results. Several carmakers
suppliers gave insight into automotive IP-based data transmission
presented an outlook on future network technology applications
connected over MOST, such as driver assist systems, mobile devices,
Internet access."
